A Letter From The President:

As president of the Minnesota Black Nurses Association (MNBNA) I would like to express to you how excited I am to let you know about the work this organization has been doing. We are passionate about the work we do and I would encourage you to look at the work we have been doing in 2011-2012 and consider joining us to continue this work. In 2013-2014, we will expand our outreach by providing educational events at LSS such as Movie, Meal and Discussion Nights – to learn about health related issues through film and discuss over a healthy meal. This will include a nutrition and cooking program. READ More

The rich legacy of the black church in the African-American experience inspires our work. We believe that the church continues to be the heartbeat within the African-American community for citizen engagement, leadership development, and enabling self-sufficiency.
